The first of its kind in Oban, BAAB Grill has been created to bring the flavours of the eastern Mediterranean to this renowned fishing port. The dishes are a mix of recipes from Greece, Turkey and the Levant, all of which have a rich culinary heritage with food meant for sharing and bonding over.
The menu has been created to suit all palettes; grilled meats from the charcoal grill, local seafood such, plenty of vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes, and not least the renowned meze with the home-made bread that’s already making a name for itself. Some signature dishes include; grilled marinated sea bass, Adana Kebab and Umm Ali – similar to a bread and butter pudding but with rose and pistachio adding the eastern flavour.
Signature dishes also include fried halloumi, fatoush salad, tamarind prawns, vegetable kebab with chilli sauce, mussakahn with shredded chicken.
All the dishes are authentic recipes, using exciting spices and herbs from the regions, yet they all have a unique BAAB twist. Where possible, all ingredients are fresh and locally sourced.
Open every night from 5.30pm - 9.30pm.
